Dr. Steve I. Foreman

The late Apostle Steve I. Foreman was called and sent forth with authority to faithfully represent the purposes and intentions of Jesus Christ. He served the Body of Christ as a Pastor of Pastors and an Apostle of God. He was the founder and former Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Church of Christ, a thriving and innovative, non-denominational fellowship in Richmond, Virginia. He and his beloved late wife, Lady Olivia Foreman, pastored together for more than fifty-three (53) years.

Apostle Foreman orchestrated the formation of Abundant Life Ministries, Inc., where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Under this corporate umbrella, many effective ministries and community services operated. He served as a spiritual father and covering to numerous pastors and their churches throughout the United States and abroad. In 2004, he developed and oversaw the Christian Apostolic Network (C.A.N.), a fellowship of churches and pastors. As the Chief Apostle of the Christian Apostolic Network, he provided support, training, counseling, and encouragement to senior pastors.

Apostle Foreman’s influence and leadership reached across the seas to the mission field, where he helped feed the hungry, clothe the poor, spread the Gospel, and bring deliverance in South Africa, Kenya, South America, Trinidad, and beyond.

Apostle Foreman was a visionary who remained in tune with what God was doing in the last days, incorporating media and technology as tools for outreach and evangelism. He and his late wife hosted radio and television broadcasts to deliver the Gospel.

A native of Petersburg, Virginia, Apostle Foreman earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also received an Associate Degree in Christian Science, as well as two (2) Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degrees, the latest of which was granted in August 2007.

After displaying a thorough knowledge of Scripture and completing many years of preparation and ministry experience, Apostle Foreman was ordained to the office of Apostle in 1993. He and his late wife were well-known international speakers who traveled extensively throughout the United States and various parts of the world, ministering at churches, conferences, seminars, and other forums on the mission field.

Apostle Foreman had the heart of a father and possessed a deep love and loyalty to the Kingdom of God. He exemplified humility, patience, and a servant’s heart. His full head of gray hair became a symbol of the wisdom and counsel he shared throughout his many years of ministry. He was a powerful preacher and masterful teacher who operated in the gifts of prophecy, the word of knowledge, healing, and deliverance, with miracles, signs, and wonders following his ministry.

Apostle Foreman and Lady Olivia were blessed with five adult children and ten grandchildren. Their children are Steve III (Bonnie, deceased), Adrian “Gary” (LaTanya), Tonya-deceased (Isaac), Kimberly (Otis), and Monique (Ira). Most of his adult children, along with their spouses and their ten grandchildren and great-granddaughter, love the Lord, and many are active in ministry.

Apostle Steve I. Foreman resided in King William County, Virginia, and remained dedicated throughout his life to spreading the Gospel and creatively sharing the unadulterated Word of God.

Apostle Steve I. Foreman departed this life on August 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, leadership, service, and an unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God.
