Jonah 1:1-5

A storm is a season of disruption allowed by God that shakes what is visible so that what is eternal, faithful, and grounded in Him can be revealed. 

• Storms expose what we truly believe(Mark4:38)
• Storms redirect us toward dependence on God(Jonah 1)
• Storms refine our character and obedience (James 1:2-4)
• Storms reveal God's authority and peace(Matthew 8:26)

A storm does not mean God is absent often it means He is about to speack, strengthen, or show Himself mighty.
